WE TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN
For more than 50 years, the Klamath & Lake Counties Council on Aging (KLCCOA) has worked to ensure that older adults, caregivers, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and underserved populations have access to the services and support they need to live with dignity, independence, and choice.
As the designated Area Agency on Aging for Klamath and Lake Counties, KLCCOA serves as a trusted resource for information, advocacy, planning, and direct services that help people remain healthy, connected, and independent in their homes and communities.
We believe that growing older should never mean growing isolated. Every individual deserves the opportunity to age with dignity, remain connected to their community, and continue making choices about their future.

OUR MISSION
To ensure that the older population, low-income individuals, minority communities, veterans, caregivers, and people with disabilities throughout Klamath and Lake Counties have the opportunity to pursue independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life.

OUR STORY
The Klamath & Lake Counties Council on Aging was established in 1969 to respond to the growing needs of older adults throughout our region. Since that time, KLCCOA has evolved into a comprehensive aging services organization and the federally designated Area Agency on Aging for Klamath and Lake Counties under the Older Americans Act.
Today, we coordinate services, support caregivers, advocate for older adults, strengthen community partnerships, and help thousands of residents each year access the resources they need to remain independent and connected. While our programs have grown over the decades, our purpose remains the same:
Helping people age with dignity, choice, and support close to home.

From Klamath Falls to Lakeview and the many rural and frontier communities in between, KLCCOA is committed to ensuring older adults have access to services regardless of where they live.
Our service area includes all of Klamath County and Lake County, covering more than 10,000 square miles of diverse landscapes, communities, and cultures.
